My son, Ethan, has OCD...Thank you for writing this. My son, Ethan, has OCD. It manifests as anxiety and hording. My daughter, it seems, also has anxiety issues. They get it from both of their parents. The church has struggled with dealing with mental illness. I hope that's changing. I would ask God to help me see reality and dive into what needed to be done, but sometimes when you go for several months without any sense of well being its pill time. My reaction to meds was so immediate and made such a drastic difference that it was great to confirm that it wasn't something I needed to fix with my self or my spiritual life. One nice thing is that since menopause I have had way less of depression/anxiety in my life.
